Mrs. Shaky-Shaky is standing in the line on her shaky-shaky legs. She looks at Tola but she does not say anything. Nobody in the line says anything. Nobody messes with the Ododi brothers.

Tola picks up her almost-empty jerry can and joins the back of the line again. She is crying now. Crying because she is so angry. And she does not even care that everybody can see her cry.

It is the Ododi boy’s turn to fill his buckets. When he is done he turns back toward the flats. There is a big jeering smile on his face as he looks at Tola.

But just as he passes Mrs. Shaky-Shaky, the Ododi boy trips. He lands on the ground hard. His buckets empty themselves.

People jump back and shriek as the water splashes them. Then the whole line goes silent. Everyone stares at the Ododi boy lying on the ground.

Then they stare at Mrs. Shaky-Shaky’s foot stuck out on the path.
